Smooth and accurate, with a huge repertoire of tricks, the Elixir is designed for the freestyle pilot who's ready to take trick flying to the next level. Upside down, inside out, on it's back, its refined shape and Active Bridle make it controllable in every position. Turbulator(tm) holes on the wingtips improve stall characteristics, precision and response in turbulent winds.
Here's what you can adjust:

ß Spine---------Wingtip-->
Pull and lift
The Yellow Pigtails (tow points)
Move above the black mark (towards the nose) for less pull or more lift in light winds. Move below the black mark (away from the nose) for more pull or easier stalls in strong winds. Make your adjustments 1/4in at a time.
Straight line speed
The Outer Standoffs
Slide the retainer fittings on the spreaders in or out to fine tune the forward speed of your kite (useful for pairs or team fliers). Slide fittings outward (toward the tips) for more precision (slower forward speed) or inward (toward the spine) for more lift in light winds (faster forward speed). Adjust standoffs perpendicular to the spreader for the factory setting.

Well its everything Prism claims. Extremely eager to trick. Axles effortlessly and rock stable fades, it tends to rise in the fade. Fade launches? Just a slight pull and up it goes, all the way to the top of the window. In 540's it gave me that nose tilted up attitude that the Utopia and Icon will give you. I flew it for an hour and a half and it is a bit heavy-feeling in light wind. I played around with the stand-off fittings and moving them in really speeds the kite up. I didn't mess with the middle stand-offs just left them in the middle holes and I made no bridle adjustments, and it flew great in all the different wind speeds that I encountered. It is a fast kite but you can give it that trick tail gentle style and it does fairly slow tricks, but I believe it craves a lightning-fast style. It turtles really well also and recovers very easily. It will dead launch and cartwheels nicely, but it has that trademark dreaded wing-pointed-at-you trouble that Prism kites seem to have (at least I seem to have) in that position. It likes to pop-up launch by the same way as the Icon and Utopia--pull the near wing not the far one. Over all it's awesome, and right now it makes me think of it as a heavier and bit more wind-needed Icon. I'm sure more flight time will produce new thoughts and plenty of the "WOW What Was That" reactions. Hope this gives you some insight on the Elixir. Its a definite winner!
