Totally redesigned (not just a new look) to incorporate all the latest, greatest tricks without compromising its legendary precision.
One kite that will do it all (light wind, high wind, precision, and ultimate trickablility for the beginner or the professional trick-flyer). It exceeds all the old Illusion's performance features, it's more durable, and lists for $298 (less than last year's Illusion with MANY more up-to-date features). In keeping w/Prism's mission statement and on-going commitment to stay on the cutting edge of the industry, Mark has worked his magic to refine the world-class Illusion.

Description - After almost a year in R&D, the new 2000 version of the Illusion is finally ready. When we decided to improve upon our winningest kite ever, we did not take the challenge lightly. Many people told us it wasn’t possible, and others were suspicious that we were just going to change the graphics and hype it as a new kite. Well, we took the challenge... and are happy we did.
The I2k is new, it’s even better, and it re-achieves the mission of the very first Illusion: it’s the single kite we would choose to fly if we could have no other, it defines the state-of-the-art in design and technology, and it’s got a cool and unmistakable look. But why mess with a proven design?
We did it because it's Prism's mission to be at the cutting edge of kite design. As we and our pilots around the world learn more about what can be done, we take the challenge to improve our designs accordingly. And for our flagship model, it’s only good enough if it’s the best it can be.
