NPW 5 - 6.9sq meters - $159.95
NPW 5 - 4.82sq meters (shown) - $139.95 (47sq ft)
NPW 5 - 3.1sq meters - 119.95 (33sq ft)
NPW 5 - 2.3sq meters - 99.95 (25sq ft)
The NASA ParaWing5 is a power kite with a brand new look. This flexible kite contains no spars or air chambers. This makes the kite highly crash-resistant. The bridle construction of the NPW5 gives you the choice to fly it as a dual line or as a quad line foil. This kite is very suitable for buggying. Incredible power at an absolutely amazing price!!! (Comparable 4sq meter foils would cost between $350 and $500!)

NPW 9 - 3.40 sq meters - 99.95 (about 40sq ft)
NPW 9 - 5.31sq meters - 129.95 (about 55sq ft)
The NASA ParaWing9 is a NasaWing with a higher aspect ratio for more speed and power (more efficient). This flexible kite contains no spars or air chambers and will fly at a higher angle than the NPW5.

These are my Seven Cardinal Rules of setting-up and stowing and your quad-line power kite.
1) The heavier (larger diameter) dual-lineset are the "power" lines, and they go on the top/leading-edge tow-points of the bridle of the kite. The lighter (smaller diameter) dual-lineset are the "brake" lines, and they go on the bottom/trailing-edge tow-points of the bridle of the kite.
2) I usually mark one line of each set (one power and one brake line) with a black mark on each end so I alway can easily identify left from right, both at the handles and at the kite. I fly black on the right. It doesn't matter, but pick a system and stick to it!
3) Never walk toward your kite with the handles. Drop the handles (or stake them down) and walk to the kite. Doubling the lineset back upon itself can (and will) cause tangles and bird-nests.
4) Always use a "Figure-8" pattern to wind the lines on the (card) winder. This prevents you from wrapping twists into the lines as you wind them.
5) Never leave lineset loops or kite bridle tow-points unsecured when you detach them from each other (or lineset from handles). If they fall (or get blown) through themselves or each other, you've got a mess. If you wrap all four lines together in one pass either leave them attached to handles and kite or slip-knot ("Lark's Head") them together (power-to-brake or vice-versa) on each side.
6) When stowing long bridles on a kite you can "chain-stitch" them to make them shorter and keep them from getting fouled. Attach (slip-knot) brake tow-points to power tow-points, then chain-stitch that side. Then do the other side. Then tie each side together, fold kite over the whole bridle assembly holding the secured tow-points out. Then lay tow-points on top of sail. The sail/canopy now separates tow-points from rest of bridle. Then continue folding or rolling your kite up to the appropriate size to fit in your bag.
7) Don't forget to have fun!
